Swiss Abroad Statistics 2023

Figures published today on 28 March by the Federal Statistical Office show that the community of the Swiss Abroad continues to grow. As in 2022, the group of people aged over 65 once again saw the largest percentage increase. Statistics suggest that the increase is in part related to the growing risk of poverty in old age.

The Pro Patria Foundation and Swiss Post are dedicating a new series of stamps to the more than 800,000 Swiss Abroad. Nat Cartier is new "Artist in Residence" in Brunnen

Nat Cartier, a Swiss artist living abroad, has been awarded this year's scholarship as "Artist in Residence" at the Square of the Swiss Abroad in Brunnen. Cartier beat off competition from eight other applicants and impressed the six-member jury of the Square of the Swiss Abroad foundation with his talents as a performing artist, producer and songwriter. Third award alreadyThe "Artist in Residence
